Melinda has been teaching in Sydney for over 15 years and is a firm believer in proving wrong the adage : "those who can, do, those who can't, teach".

With a background in both classical and contemporary styles, Melinda founded AusVoice and The Singing Studio. She has a myriad of successful and well-known singers of pop, rock and music theatre amongst her past and current clientele, and is herself a past winner of the Australian Open Singing Championship, a Mo Award Nominee and a regular performer and session singer on the Sydney scene.

Her intention is to instill in her students a love of the craft through humour, knowledge and enthusiasm, and train up a new generation of singers who combine their passion for singing with technique, direction, individual artistry and a sound knowledge of how to maintain their vocal health to maximise their opportunities and the longevity of their career/hobby as vocalists.
